AACA’s Overseas Qualifications Assessment Process, conducted in 2 separate stages, determines how individual overseas academic qualifications compare with a current Australian accredited qualification in architecture. Once an applicant’s qualification has been deemed comparable he/ she is eligible to undertake the Architectural Practice Examination (APE), successful completion of which is required before applying for registration as an architect with a state or territory architects registration board.

Project Portfolio & Work Experience
All scans must be in pdf format, in colour and at a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Please ensure that your pdfs are not password protected and do not submit certified copies, photocopies, black or white copies. The standard application fee is $2,300 Australian dollars. A credit card surcharge of 1.6% is applied. Please have your credit card details ready before completing this online application form.
