AACA announces new President

The Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Erin Hinton as the new President of the AACA Board. Erin brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to advancing architectural education, assessment, and national consistency across the profession.

We extend our sincere thanks to Giorgio Marfella for his outstanding leadership and dedication over the past two years as President. We are delighted that Giorgio will continue to contribute his expertise as a member of the AACA Board for a further two years.

We also warmly welcome new Director, Ali Devellerez, whose knowledge and professional insight will further strengthen the AACA Board.

Our appreciation also goes to continuing Board members, Paul Boyce and Sue Crawford, who bring valued continuity and depth of expertise to AACA’s governance, and to Glenice Fox, who has completed her term of dedicated service and contribution to advancing the profession through AACA’s work.

We look forward to working with Erin and all Board members as AACA continues its mission to uphold national standards and support the future of architectural practice in Australia.
