  1. Authentication of Australian Accredited QualificationApplicants are required to validate their Australian accredited qualification using My eQuals platform prior to applying to AACA. Refer to the guide below for further information.

Applications are generally finalised within 3 weeks. Timeframes are dependent upon the submission of all required documentation.

Outcome

Suitable Assessment Outcome

Suitable applicants are provided with a AACA Statement of Recognition that acts as an authority to apply for the Architectural Practice Examination (APE) with an Australian State or Territory Architects Registration Board, subject to eligibility criteria (including practical experience logbook).

Applicants can also request from AACA an Australian Migration Skills Assessment for the occupation ‘Architect’, OSCA Code 241131 (previously ANZSCO code 232111.)
