Application Process

  1. Authentication of Australian Accredited QualificationApplicants are required to validate their Australian accredited qualification using My eQuals platform prior to applying to AACA. Refer to the guide below for further information.

  2. AACA Application: Please contact AACA on [email protected]. Please clearly indicate in the email title “AUS/NZ and UK Qualification Recognition”.  
  3. Key Document: Australian and UK Qualifications Recognition Application Modified Guide  

Applications are generally finalised within 3 weeks. Timeframes are dependent upon the submission of all required documentation.

Outcome

With a successful outcome, applicants will receive an AACA Statement of Recognition. Applicants will be eligible to apply for the Australian Architectural Practice Examination, subject to eligibility criteria (including practical experience).

Applicants can also request from AACA an Australian Migration Skills Assessment for the occupation ‘Architect’, ANZSCO code 232111.
