Australian and UK Qualification Recognition for Australia Modified
Eligible applicants can apply for this recognition process regardless of their registration status in Australia.
- Australian or New Zealand undergraduate qualification that is a pathway qualification to one of the Australian Accredited Architecture qualifications.
- United Kingdom Architects Registration Board (UK ARB) prescribed qualification Part 2
Authentication of Australian Accredited Qualification: Applicants are required to validate their Australian accredited qualification using My eQuals platform prior to applying to AACA. Refer to the guide below for further information.

Applications are generally finalised within 3 weeks. Timeframes are dependent upon the submission of all required documentation.
With a successful outcome, applicants will receive an AACA Statement of Recognition. Applicants will be eligible to apply for the Australian Architectural Practice Examination, subject to eligibility criteria (including practical experience).
Applicants can also request from AACA an Australian Migration Skills Assessment for the occupation ‘Architect’, ANZSCO code 232111.
