Announcement: Appointment of new CEO for the AACA

The Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Lyndal Macpherson as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Lyndal brings to the AACA extensive expertise in leadership, stakeholder engagement, and governance, with a strong track record of delivering strategic goals in the healthcare industry, across the not-for-profit, corporate, and clinical practice sectors.

Lyndal’s expertise, vision, and commitment will be instrumental in advancing the AACA’s mission to work collaboratively with stakeholders and to deliver high-quality, nationally consistent assessment programs for tertiary education, international recognition and on the path to becoming a registered architect in Australia.

The AACA Board, staff, and members warmly welcome Lyndal and look forward to working together to strengthen the AACA’s role in shaping the future of architectural accreditation in close collaboration with state and territory registration Boards.

The AACA Board and staff acknowledge and thank Kate Doyle for her commitment and contribution as Interim CEO throughout the transition period.
