The Architecture Practice Exam (APE) is a 3 part process. Prior to sitting the exam you need to submit your Logbook with the architects registration Board in your State or Territory. Check the Part 1- Logbook Submission Timetable for your State or Territory architect registration boards’ submission deadline, as this varies in each jurisdiction. Logbook Information for APE 2016 Candidates
The National Competency Standard for Architects has been revised. In the transition to implementation of the Standard across all AACA assessment processes candidates for the APE in 2016 may submit the logbook downloaded before 31 October 2015 or the current logbook on our website. More information.

The Architectural Practice Exam is held twice a year by the State and Territory Architect Registration Boards. The next session of the National Examination Paper (NEP) will be held on Tuesday, 25 August 2015. Please refer to your State or Territory Architects Board Website for further information regarding to APE Applications and Logbook lodgement dates.
